So often when one buys these in a French market it can be deCEPtive as they are riddled with holes or past their peak. However, these ones were at their prime and made an excellent accompaniment to the wagyu beef steaks. Do not acCEPt anything less.

If you haven’t tried the potimarron squash soup recipe yet, do it. It tastes fantastic, looks wonderful - indeed impressive, and is a doddle to make. The bacon is revelatory. Indulge a little in the fat. It’s full of flavour.
I threw some of the cherry toms in the pan as well. On homemade toasted bread and LMDC butter. What a way to start a Sunday.

These are delicious.... perfect cooked with a bit of garlic and parsley and added to pasta or mushroom risotto.

Great service and food quality. I wish I could order for 3 rather than 2 as we are 3 in the household. Gusto (different concept and food quality) allows for 3 people.
