Alexis Muñoz's Black Olive Oil (25cl)

This black olive oil is unusual in it's taste and flavour. This oil is smoother and deeper flavoured than the more widely available green Extra Virgin olive oil. The oil is made from Cornicabra olives from Toledo in Castilla La Mancha (Spain). It is a monovarietal virgin olive oil, produced with matured olives picked at the end of December. Before extracting the oil, the olives are put into controlled fermentation.
This oil has an intense and round taste - it's almost jammy, like a tapenade. The oil has a candied black olive aroma, similar to an olive oil of yesteryear.
This is a perfect finishing oil - add it to the top of your red meat or fish or to a soup. It works brilliantly with mashed potatoes, toasted bread, or with vegetables.
Keep away from light, store in a dry and cool place.
