"Au Bon Beurre" artisanal butter
"Au Bon Beurre" butter is made by Olivier Martin in the village of Beaulencourt in northern France. He uses the cream from three different breeds of cattle (Jersey, Holstein and Normande) which give the butter its unique flavour. It comes in a 250g pack either unsalted "doux" or lightly salted (3%) "demi-sel".
Allergen info: Contains MILK
I like this butter a lot. It gets soft pretty quickly outside the fridge which suggests a high-ish water content so I probably wouldn't use it for cooking but then it is probably best appreciated on bread anyway. A decent price for a hand-made product in comparison with other butters on the market. I've only tried the unsalted.
