Crottin de Chavignol goat's milk cheese (2 x 60g)
This semi-soft goat's milk cheese comes from the village of Chavignol in the Loire valley. It is an excellent entry point into the world of goat's milk cheese since is has a subtle and light flavour. It is protected by an AOC (Appelation d'origine contrôlé) and is made by the affineur Dubois Boulay.
Allergen info: Contains raw MILK
I have any number of recipes for crottins but they are nigh impossible to find in London and when you do they are usually unconscionably expensive. These are reasonably priced and most importantly, taste good and cook beautifully.
I love goat cheese and these crottins are delicious.
Absolutely delicious and so good that the cheese comes in pairs.
