Trio of Cheeses & wheat wafers
Camembert (250g): This iconic, soft-rind cheese is made in Normandy from raw cow's milk. It has 'Appelation D'Origine' which means the production and location of production are strictly monitored.
Dorset Blue Vinny (250g): This handmade, artisan blue cheese is produced by the Davies family at Woodbridge Farm, near Sturminster Newton in the heart of Dorset.
They use the fresh morning milk to produce Dorset Blue Vinny which is skimmed, by hand, before the cheesemaking process can begin. It takes over 24 hours to make and the truckles are left for 15-18 weeks to mature. Exceptionally creamy with a mild blue taste, Dorset Blue Vinny has a flavoursome, edible rind.
Montgomery Cheddar (aged 18 months) (250g): The Montgomery family have been farming the North & South Cadbury pastures for three generations, to make their delicious Montgomery Cheddar. This cheddar is matured for 18 months wrapped in muslin cloth on wooden shelves. Its deep, rich, nutty flavours have won worldwide acclaim and will continue to do so under the pride and attention of the Montgomery Family.
Miller's Damsel wheat wafers for cheese (125g): Crunchy and wheaty wafers. Hexagonal wafers made with stone-ground flour, grown and milled in the Derbyshire Peak District. With no artificial additives or preservatives, these wafers are made by real people: Sifting and weighing the ingredients by hand, testing the mix according to consistency, baking until the smell is just right, and finally checking each one by eye. The same way they have done for decades using traditional tools - some of which are over 80 years old
